While on a trip to the Galapagos Islands in October 2009, I was seriously moved by the level of trust displayed by the animal life on the islands. The trust and openness seemed to carry over even to our snorkeling excursions underwater. I have tried to portray that trust in this series of photographs taken underwater in the marine preserve of the Galapagos Islands. The images were printed using metallic ink to dramatize the vivid underwater colors. I used a Canon D-10 underwater point-and-shoot camera.
