biography

S. E. Chambers is an artist and writer whose work is inspired by her past, her present, and her hope for the future. She majored in Art History and minored in Biology at Cedar Crest College (2003, BA). She studied French language at the Université Sorbonne and studied fashion with Xavier Chaumette at AIFS (American Institute for Foreign Study) during the summer of 2002 in Paris, and completed a Master of Arts degree in Art History at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom in 2004. From 2004 to 2006, she applied her aesthetic and organizational skills to event planning at The Explorers Club in New York City. She now works as an event planner in Secaucus, New Jersey. She has served as an associate editor for bhag since 2002.
